Centre for Product Design & Development

Centre for Product Design and Development works in association with TRYCAE Industrial Engineering Private Limited. This centre focuses on Research, Consultancy services, provides training to the students for up skilling their practical knowledge. Eventually Employment, Innovative ideas for product design, entrepreneur and startup would be the outcome of the centre.

Objective of the Centre is to

• Promote excellence in the field of Product Design by providing a perfect platform for prototyping the Innovative ideas, interdisciplinary collaboration, research and training.
• Provide internship opportunities to the students and to connect them with industry experts and establish a strong relationship.
• Encourage students to gain skills in Industrial product design and create opportunities for collaborative activities.

Available resources of the centre will be effectively utilized to provide certification course on Solid Works and prepare the students community to meet the global challenges.

Solid Works Certification Course – A Prologue

This course is aimed to increase the employability skills of the students and to make them industry ready.  The Department of Mechanical Engineering runs this course every year to train the interested students in the field of Product Design. Students will be actively trained to take the online test conducted by Dassault Systèmes – United States for the Certified Solid Works Associate (CSWA) and Certified Solid Works Professional (CSWP) courses. This test evaluates and validates the individual’s proficiency in the field of product design.

Levels of Solid Works Certification Courses

• Level One - Certified Solid Works Associate (CSWA)
• Level Two - Certified Solid Works Professional (CSWP)
• Level Three - Certified Solid Works Expert (CSWE)
