Planning and Monitoring Board

Planning and Monitoring Board                         

The planning and monitoring board has been constituted with the eminent scholars from the academic side and other fields. They meet twice in a year. The minutes of meeting is prepared at the end of each meeting and forwarded to governing council.

Functions of Planning and Monitoring Board

  1. Review and recommend the budget of various departments and monitor budget utilization for previous year.
  2. Periodically review the minutes of HoDs meeting and all committee meetings in the institution.
  3. Approve the institution and department academic schedule/calendar and allocate relevant funds for implementation.
  4. Planning of academic/co-curricular/extra-curricular activities for the forthcoming semester/academic year.
  5. Discuss feedback analysis report of stakeholders and suggests corrective measures towards improvement of the Institution.
  6. Overview the research and development activities of the college in each year and make suggestions for further improvements in this aspect.
  7. Monitoring and evaluation of various processes in the institution towards continuous improvement periodically

Industrial Automation laboratory

  • The department of EEE established Industrial Automation laboratory on June 2018.

  • Centre of Excellence – Industrial Automation aids the students for providing technical skills, brand them as future professionals and assist them to improve their performance by imparting career oriented courses periodically.

  • This laboratory provides PLC controllers, HMI, VFD and SCADA  for learning, designing, testing and trouble shooting on their innovative ideas of all the students and faculty members.

  • This laboratory provides periodical in-house training programs and workshops for the both students and engineering professionals to bring out professional and technical excellence in industrial automation in order to bridge the gap between industries and academia.

  • The main objective is to disseminate automation knowledge and appropriate skill practices through proper system of training and certification to meet the demand of the automation era.

  • The outcomes of this laboratory allow the students to design, develop and troubleshooting a project/prototype/product for industrial real time problems.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE (PEOs)

  • PEO I: Knowledge: Graduates will apply the knowledge of electrical drives and controls, embedded systems and power system engineering to solve the real world problems using modern engineering tools.
