IoT and Embedded systems laboratory [Texas Instruments and ABE Semiconductor Designs]

  • The department of EEE established IoT and Embedded system laboratory in association with Texas Instruments, TI University Programme Partner STEPS Knowledge service Pvt Ltd and ABE Semiconductor designs which aids the students for providing technical skills, brand them as future professionals and assist them to improve their performance by imparting career oriented courses periodically.
  • This laboratory provides embedded controllers, boards and kits for learning, designing, testing and trouble shooting on their innovative ideas of all the students and faculty members.
  • This laboratory provides periodical in-house training programs and workshops for the both students and engineering professionals to bring out professional and technical excellence in IoT and Embedded systems in order to bridge the gap between industries and academia.
  • The main objective is to disseminate knowledge and appropriate skill practices through proper system of training and certification.

 

Facilities available

  • The laboratory has well organized test benches, several in-house developed experiment set ups and all the work tables are provided with 1-Phase UPS supply.
  • Twelve computers (Inter Core i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz, 2.00 GB RAM, 320 GB HDD).

  • DC motors and Stepper motors
  • Sensors (Temperature, PIR, smoke, touch resistive, ultrasonic, water, rain, humidity, light, infra-red and moisture)
  • RF ID readers, tags, LCD’s and ULINK Debuggers
  • 4 and 2 Channel relay boards
  • The tool and accessories facility includes soldering iron, glue gun, digital multimeter, power adapters, USB to RS232 cable, HDMI to VGA converters, memory card, breadboard, wire cutter, screw driver, line tester and jumper wires.
