Civil Programme's PEOs, PSOs and POs
PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES(PEOs)
PEO1: Graduates shall exhibit their sound theoretical, practical skills and knowledge for successful employments or higher studies or research or entrepreneurial assignments.
PEO2: Graduates shall have lifelong learning skills, professional ethics and good communication capabilities along with entrepreneur skills and leadership, so that they can succeed in their life
PEO3: Graduates shall become leaders and innovators by devising engineering solutions for social issues and problems, thus caring for the society
PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)
PSO1: Professional skills:Students shall have skills and knowledge to work on projects on urban and rural housing, infrastructure, environment and sustainability
PSO2: Competency:Students shall qualify at the State, National and International level competitive examinations for employment, higher studies and research.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)
Engineering Graduates will be able to:
- Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
- Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
- Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
- Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
- Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
- The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
- Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
- Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
- Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
- Communication: Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.
- Project management and finance: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.
- Life-long learning: Recognize the need for and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.
SC/ST Welfare Committee
SC/ST welfare committee
The SC/ST welfare committee was started with an objective to enable them to live in society with dignity and self-esteem and without fear or violence or suppression from the dominant castes and to improve the socio-economic conditions of the SCs and STs. This committee also helps the students with physiological issues achieve reconciliation with the self and the other.
Objectives of the sc/st welfare committee
- To redress the grievance complaints of SC/ST Students
- To provide counselling services to SC/ST Students
- To enhance the employability skills of SC/ST Students

Planning and Monitoring Board
Planning and Monitoring Board
The planning and monitoring board has been constituted with the eminent scholars from the academic side and other fields. They meet twice in a year. The minutes of meeting is prepared at the end of each meeting and forwarded to governing council.
Functions of Planning and Monitoring Board
- Review and recommend the budget of various departments and monitor budget utilization for previous year.
- Periodically review the minutes of HoDs meeting and all committee meetings in the institution.
- Approve the institution and department academic schedule/calendar and allocate relevant funds for implementation.
- Planning of academic/co-curricular/extra-curricular activities for the forthcoming semester/academic year.
- Discuss feedback analysis report of stakeholders and suggests corrective measures towards improvement of the Institution.
- Overview the research and development activities of the college in each year and make suggestions for further improvements in this aspect.
- Monitoring and evaluation of various processes in the institution towards continuous improvement periodically
